As Hillary Clinton said last night in the debate:

“I told people that it would be impossible to be fact-checking Donald all the time—I’d never get to talk about anything I want to do and how we’re going to really make lives better for people.”

So we did it on Hillary’s behalf. Here are 37 times Donald Trump lied, distorted the truth, or was just totally wrong on the debate stage last night:

1. When he said we have a $800 billion trade deficit.
2. When he claimed what he said in a recently leaked tape was merely “locker room talk.”
3. When he said nobody has more respect for women than him.
4. When he said people “from the Middle East and other places” are pouring into our country.
5. When he said Hillary has done “a terrible job for the African Americans.”
6. When he said Hillary didn’t win the Democratic primary “fair and square.”
7. When he said long-term workers at the FBI are furious.
8. When he said Hillary’s campaign started birtherism.
9. When he said everything about Obamacare is broken.
10. When he said many people saw the bombs all over the apartment of the San Bernardino terrorists.
11. When he said of immigrants: “people are coming into our country, like we have no idea who they are.” (and then he repeated this lie.)
12. When he said he was against the war in Iraq from the beginning.
13. When he said his lie about being against the war in Iraq hasn’t been debunked.

36. When he said he’s all for alternative forms of energy, including wind and solar.
37. When he said Hillary wants to put miners out of business.

Trump did say one true thing on the debate stage:

I will say this about Hillary: She doesn’t quit and she doesn’t give up. I respect that… She’s a fighter. I disagree with much of what she’s fighting for… But she does fight hard, and doesn’t quit, and I consider that to be a very good trait.”
