ATP rankings: Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer both out of world's main four

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have won 31 Thousand Hammers(Grand Slams) between them


Previous world number ones Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are both outside the main four in the men's reality rankings without precedent for a long time. 


Spaniard Nadal, 30, is fifth in the most recent ATP standings, with 35-year-old Swiss Federer two spots lower. 

Serbia's Novak Djokovic tops the rundown, in front of Briton Andy Murray and Federer's comrade Stan Wawrinka, with Japan's Kei Nishikori in fourth. 

Briton Johanna Konta is in the ladies' main 10 interestingly. 

The 25-year-old trips to ninth in the wake of achieving the last of the China Open, in which she was beaten by Agnieszka Radwanska. 

Nadal, who won the latest of his 14 Thousand Hammers in 2014, has guaranteed two titles this year - in Barcelona and Monte Carlo. 

Federer, a 17-time Amazing Hammer victor, has been out with a knee harm since Wimbledon, where he was thumped out in the semi-finals by Canada's Milos Raonic.
