
Two men and two ladies have been murdered on a ride at an amusement park on Australia's east drift.
Two casualties were tossed from a pontoon on the Thunder
Stream Rapids ride at Dreamworld on Queensland's Gold Drift, while two others
were caught inside, authorities said.
The recreation center in Coomera has been shut and an
examination is under way.
Dreamworld charges itself as Australia's greatest amusement park
with more than 50 rides and attractions.
The Thunder Waterway Rapids ride whisks guests in round
flatboats along a quick moving fake stream. Dreamworld depicts it as a
"direct excite" fascination.
Queensland Rescue vehicle representative Gavin Fuller
faulted a "breakdown" for the mishap.
The casualties have not been named but rather are accounted
for to be two ladies matured 32 and 42 and two men matured 38 and 35.
Australia's 9News reported that they were potentially from a
similar family.

Observer Lisa Capes told Australian supporter ABC that she
saw individuals fleeing from the ride crying.
"I was addressing part of the gang and he said it was
the flatboat or the vessel thing before him, the entire thing flipped and
everybody was shouting," she said.
Queensland police representative Todd Reid said agents were
auditing CCTV footage of the occurrence while groups attempted to expel the
bodies from the scene.
Dreamworld delineate
"It is a mind boggling recovery including substantial
gear and that will take a few hours," he said.
He included he didn't know about any prior issues with the
ride, in spite of the fact that that would frame part of the examination.
The amusement park, 48km (30 miles) south of Brisbane, said
it was "acting as fast as could be expected under the circumstances to set
up the realities around the episode and is working intimately with crisis
powers and police."

The recreation center's proprietors say it will stay shut on
Wednesday
Craig Davidson, head of Vigorous Amusement Parks, said they
were "profoundly stunned and disheartened" by the occurrence.
Australian Head administrator Malcolm Turnbull said he was
"exceptionally disheartened to learn of the unfortunate mishap".
"Amusement parks are a place for family fun and
satisfaction, not catastrophe," he said.
Queensland Head Annastacia Palaszczuk said a careful
examination would be held into the "horrendous, awful scene".
"This has been an outright catastrophe, a heartbreaking
mishap at Dreamworld where a large number of individuals go once a day,"
she said.
